A bit more about me
Hello! I’m Gaurav Tripathi, a geography enthusiast, educator, and lifelong learner.
My journey has been full of twists and turns, from aspiring to serve in the Indian Defence Services to passionately preparing for the Civil Services, and finally finding my true calling in teaching.
Today, I dedicate my time to helping students navigate the vast world of geography and environmental studies, fostering an understanding that goes beyond textbooks.
My experiences have shaped me into the teacher I am today – someone who believes in not just imparting knowledge but also inspiring others to think critically about the world around us.
Through this blog, I aim to share insights on topics that truly matter – the issues that shape our planet’s future but often get overshadowed by more immediate concerns. Welcome to my little corner of the web, where geography and environment take center stage.
My Journey
From a young age, I’ve been drawn to the wonders of our world – its diverse landscapes, cultures, and the intricate balance of nature. This curiosity naturally led me toward geography, a field that allows one to explore the complexities of our planet. Along the way, I realized that understanding geography isn’t just about memorizing facts; it’s about developing a perspective that considers environmental, social, and economic factors in a holistic way.
My path has been filled with learning experiences that have shaped my worldview. I’ve come to understand that true wisdom lies in continuous growth, the ability to see connections between different fields, and the drive to inspire others. Teaching became my way to channel this wisdom. Guiding students through the vast terrain of geography and environmental studies, I strive to not only impart knowledge but also to cultivate critical thinking and curiosity.
For me, teaching is more than a profession; it’s a calling. It allows me to share insights, address complex issues, and encourage others to look at the world from a fresh perspective. This blog is an extension of that mission – a space where I share my thoughts on topics that impact our world today and the small changes we can make for a better tomorrow.
